I went to Humania with my 71 mage, and talked to Henrique, who gave me the letter "I" as a clue. When I spoke to Henrique with my 56 bird, the clue was not available to that character. So... part of the clue-revealing system appears to be level-based, or based on some on other character-specific accomplishment. Hope this helps!
