Race event how to change controlls?

As the title says, im quite troubled with the controls... :(( mine isn't in joystick but with arrows pointing left and right... it's kinda hard to operate...

Is there a way to change it to joystick?

I mainly play on PC and tried checking if it automatically changes to joystick once played on phone but turns out it's still arrows xD

Look on your screen when you enter the event map. At the bottom, in the middle.. there is a triangle shape.
Tap that and you get virtual joystick.
