What happened to community-designed vanities?

Hi,

I made a a thread suggesting a forum event where players design a vanity for an upcoming event.

The most liked vanity design would then be implemented Ingame, and the creator gets the set for free.

I remember that @Cinco said that they'd do one this year, but the year is nearly over, so when's it gonna happen?

The vanities in AL have been getting so dull, the only good vanities released recently were the vanity version of old gears released in forgotten vanity event.

The players will come up with amazing ideas and designs, it will save devs the hassle.

I agree I mean look at bb hooks and Immortal daggers. Then look at Pisces and spirit

I'd be even fine with recolored versions of bb hooks or other older arcane/myth weapons.
