I'm looking at adding auction statistics. We haven't determined how you will access this (limited auction pass for Platinum, gold sink per item stats viewed, auction statistic tokens, etc.), but here's the data that can currently be viewed:

Number of listings
Average List Price
High List Price
Low List Price
Average Sell Price
High Sell Price
Low Sell Price

What stats do you think are important when viewing an item in the Auction House?

This may also be hard to do because of cost variations regarding upgrades and enhancements.

Would be extremely helpful but this is almost near impossible to make work as 1 you said awakes on armors take an effect so every gear is inaccurate, chest items vanities house items and crafting items can be abused easily by people teaming together to list stuff low and have an alt buy it back and forth to mess the prices up then you have items that will spiral out of control because of supply and demand like awakening gems or haste pendants / rings at certain times.
As much as I wish this feature to be added I just see it not being a possibility maybe. Unless if you can null the fakes to abuse the prices and sort by x% stat.
Example there will be dex str int armor and most other awakes going from 0%-12% if I was to click on dugger daggers 10% dex this will also count +all % stats towards it as well but it will give me price data for 10% dex dug dags or even 10% armor rendtail could be another.
Maybe I am overlooking on the price average, if you think about it those who try to abuse the average price will have a chance of their item being bought by someone they didn't want it to be bought from. Average price the item sold for and lowest listing price would be most helpful. Some items we have to filter through just to get to the cheapest one listed.

This would be nice to have but would be manipulated with, it would be a nice gold sink but I think the limited dev time should be spent on something else other than this

For this very reason, the whole concept is useless and another waste of time that could be spent developing CONTENT

manipulators would love this feature. better not add it in game. manipulator can put one item in store for a high price then he'll buy it using an alt account. Wasting a few gold on auction fee won't be a problem to them since their main focus is to fool players that an item has been sold for "this" price. once they see a paid actor's proof on it, they'll be able to fool a lot of players about an item's price.

Peace.

They should add the time after auc insert till buy. So when the item was bought within 5 minutes and ppl try to rush with those items we know there’s smth sus

or better not add this feature at all. Once they made a fake proof in auction by buying an item by an overpriced amount by the use of their alt account, they'll start selling things outside and when someone doesn't believe for the price that a manipulator wants, they'll use that fake proof by saying, "look at its price being sold in auction history if you don't believe me"

The last sold in auction doesn’t determine its final price, it just gives you an idea in about which price range you can sell the item. Like if you sell your heroic egg for 5m or for 50m you can look in auc history in which range u can put it in to gain best profit. Ofc vanitys and auras are going to be abused or rare collectibles

Basically it’s a very good idea to add this feature. I just hope they test it 2 weeks with the community and then look if it’s really good or just nah better not waste resources on it. Like with event chests it’s very good to make profit out of chests buying and reselling for 5k more for example.

There is no need for this and is going to add more problems than solve.

I list an item for a very high price and nobody buys it. I wait untill its about to expire and buy my own item. Now it looks like that item sold for the really high price. I list an item for a super low price and buy right away on my Alt. Now it looks like the item is cheap. That type of stuff alone ruins the whole thing from the very start.

I dont believe this feature is beneficial. Yea last auction price would be nice, but it would be manipulated by alt accounts.
Average price would be better, it would be harder to manipulate because it give a % in value not a listing price. Still prices fluctuate all the time for items..so it needs to be braud with its info.

How many times that same item has been sold would also be a funny idea...yhr stats when I buy an item are always base stats. Cuz gems always mess up my build anyway lol.

The awakes and/or jewels on the item would make it difficult

Kinda like this concept but it needs some sort of adjustment.

Maybe some conditions which should be considered to make this work.

I was hoping to have some sort of feature to show us how many people are owning a specific item, and how many items are available in total.

Data should not be taken from people who didn’t sign-in the last 12 months.

So much work for something unnecessary nty
Also the above reasons mainly manipulation

A good merch either has a good memory or a notebook or can check the forums search button and get relevant info

Call this feature the lazy- auto merch

I'm a bit torn on this suggestion because it has potential to either encourage or discourage misleading prices depending on how well-implemented it is. In its current state, there just isn't enough info for this to be viable. It would work better with a detailed price history of the past days, weeks, and months; maybe throw in a graph to make it more understandable also. At that point it would look like we're dealing with stocks.

Sounds good. We'll skip making this available.

here a quick screenshot from one of my favourite games.. eve online.

though this game is very different, it can still be considered an MMORPG, maybe you can still get something from it..

247623

the grey bar at the bottom is time scale, can be dragged out to 1 year....
the blue bars are the amount sold per day...
the grey bar on the graph is the difference in price between either sell orders or buy orders i forgot.. hahaha
the blue and yellow lines.. IDK..
the yellow dots are how many are sold compared to how many are bought; using these dots we can determine if its a good item to merch if the dots are mostly in the middle of the grey bar.

hope this helps.
