One PL wish is this

I remember when I first started playing I had a mentor of sorts. He guided me through Forest Haven and told me about the game. I had to take a break about May 2011. (That was when I registered my account. Wish I had earlier...) I didn't have the time for PL anymore. I came back in August and became more active in game but my mentor was gone.

Long story short, I wish there was a way to find out what happened to old players of PL. Like just to see how they're doing and why they quit or maybe they were banned for some reason? I checked through the Happy Trails forum but didn't see any posts from either of the people I miss.

Sidenote: Makes me laugh to remember how he used to complain about Gurgox and how the boss was so hard to defeat. (I came in about the time AO3 was being created)

I wasn't trying to be elusive about their names ha. Back when I first started PL I was using a mage named Paozu. Buuuut after I came back I deleted that character and made Hardcoure, hence my forum name.

I digress. The only names I remember of my so called mentor were coalsoul (his mage) and diocifer (his bear). The other person I mentioned was damagedede.

I think one of their real names was Andrew. I dunno. I ran with damage when Fang first came out and we'd hit 66. He liked to farm Vlod and got me hooked on it as well. When he randomly stopped playing, our regular group all started asking questions but I haven't seen him on since about Feb this year.
