Title says it all - Doesn't work on my phone anymore. I just get a black screen then it goes back to my home screen, no Force Close or anything.

Yes, please try re-installing the game and let us know if that works.

Uninstalling/reinstalling results in same failure - black screen then back to home screen.
If it helps here is the logcat output.

Well, after latest update, its working again, but my skills are still suffering the skills reset issue.
