I know this feature is locked for players but it would be cool if you guys will step up and allow use to use the 360 view in any map. I know there should be a condition because maps are designed to be seen from a certain angle so I d suggest to keep the 45 degree angle view and unlock just the rotation to 360 as there is already a feature that allows the player to see the map from certain points.

Thanks!

Prolly never gonna happen, we’ve asked for this for as long as the games been out

Filling in the graphics would be very labor intensive and take up bandwidth or space, I forget which exactly

It has nothing to do with the bandwidth or space. It is a feature that already exists in the game and can be used anywhere by the devs and only in house instance by the players. The version of the camera I'm suggesting doesn't require aditional work on the maps as the point of view angle doesn't change. It will still be locked at 45 degree as it is now. But we ll be able to unlock the 360 rotation and that s it. It will make the game more immersive, it will add a bit of complexity to pvp (I'm pretty sure this was the main reason they didn't want to globaly unlock the camera) and it will be a fun factor overall as you won t be forced to use the same 3 standard point of views again and again in every map. If they want to give the game a modern look and feel this feature should be unlocked imo. This along side with more detailed meshes and specular on textures (where it is the case) + lightnight effects or any other vfx such as smoke, fog, sparkles, dust and so on, will make the maps look more visual appealing and it will remove the oldschool factor from the game.

We do allow full camera rotation in select areas that are built for it.

Most zones are not built to support this - and supporting 360 everywhere would mean adding tons of geometry to most of the game.

This is not something we plan to do.
