For one week, starting Thursday 8/25 at 1:30pm, visit the store or take your weapons against Zodias bosses to collect the new Kraken Battle Shell Crates!

These crates are your first chance to get your hands on the new Level 81 Arcane Kraken Battle Shell Armor and Helm, among other exciting and powerful prizes!

Where To Find Them

Kraken Battle Shell Crates will drop from all Zodias bosses, normal and Elite, with a higher chance to loot them from Ekenta, Mecharydon and Rahabkor.

There will also be limited quantities in the store from 8/25 to 9/1.

Both the store and looted crates cost 15 platinum to open for 3 item pulls.

For all Classes the Kraken Battle Helmet has a chance to proc:

In PvE you get a +25% increase to your Ultimate Skill Charge. As this has no relevance to PvP you get a different buff (Haste) in PvP settings. Cooldowns for both are long but the benefits are strong!

An icon will appear on your HUD when the Helmet proc is activated:

Guaranteed Loot System

Level 81 Arcane Armor and Helms are part of the Guaranteed Loot system, meaning that players who open a significant number of crates are guaranteed to loot one of these pieces eventually! Both the store and looted versions count toward this goal.

Kraken Battle Shell Crates also have a chance to drop:

- 4, 8, and 12 Hour Speedup Kits
- Up to 1,000,000 Gold
- Zodias Champion Rank Points up to 5,000
- Fathoms up to 500
- Level 81 Mythic Weapons

Its been almost a year, what is the point of getting Zodias points and Fathoms when there is nothing to do with them(people dont want that vanity recipe and the oil elixirs are absurd in cost).

Arcane helmet looks fine. Vanity, as usual terrible, classic AL since 2019. Arcane Armor procs? big flashbacks of Festerfang Expansion nothing new, same procs.

Arcane helmet proc visual, bit cool. Arcane armor proc, visual Pisces proc visual version 2.0, seriously it's so bad for rogues make it at least more noticeable it looks like you just slap some water vapor PNGs around the character model.

p2w access of new gears? cool. another day for us f2p nothing special at all. give us an interesting event.

Overall very disappointing. from QoL updates of no events most of them are good and makes playing more comfortable and gives us more reasons to play, can't avoid that there are more p2w achievements, what else do we expect?

I think 600 pulls is way to much for an item. I think u should fast reconsider. I didn't had a negative thought till now abt all ur new changes. But this is too much for real.
It's early enough so no harm done. Go back at 300 pulls for a guarantee reward. @devs

For me it is always 5-10 wrong class drops before I get my class so if it is still random class I rather skip this.

Also it is only 100 crates available every 2h which means it is impossible to pop 200 crates from the store in 1 week.

@cinco please increase store crates count and make it for proper class - it's been a lot time issue.

Proper class matters for hc only. If u need tank gear and u loot mage u can sell it and buy ur class.Yes I am talking from hardcore player perspective. Last time I did that guaranteed loot I finished it 7 times and didn't get a single item for my class so I'd prefer 2x cost but guaranteed proper class.
My own anti-record is 12 wrong class mythic/arcane weapons before I finally looted the right one so yes it pisses me off very much 😂
In normal I would not even bother about number of pulls as you can just buy whatever you need for gold without any plat spending.

Especially when hc can't really farm Zodias portals like normal toons do

Because they are rarer, and you will need both mythic and arcane.

agree for rogue switch to arcane means switch to death lol -4500 health each total of 9k health, arc armor 81 is for warior, with price 100-200m lol after a few months it will drop price.

True and it is not getting arc armor and helm for sure it is arcane loot. So you may end up with 5K zodias réputation, or 200k-1m gold.
