I'm on my phone right now looking at a L20 bird wearing Founders and the stones are black and purple. The usual Founders helm, or what I would call usual, is just straight purple with some shading so it has a shape to the gem.

I can't screen shot thanks to Android but I did try and replicate it in Photoshop. I know I did a crappy job. The Founders has like nine diamond shapes in one gem in it but I only did four. (it was way faster)

Was the founders helm altered or would this just be my client screwing up again?

With black and purple? Mine has always been straight purple.

A lot of items received a "touch up", and I believe the Founder's helm was one of them.

Also, if you Android vs 4.0, you can take screenshots by holding the power button and volume at the same time. ;)

What is this Android 4.0 you speak of? LOL if only. I'm running like 2.3.4. Don't think my phone can handle the new OS and I'm not very familiar with Android or I might try to figure a way to loophole so I can screen shot.

Android 4.0 is the "Ice Cream Sandwich" OS which came out earlier this year. I upgraded my old phone to a Samsung Nexus and that is how I have it. You are correct in that the older phones/devices won't support it.

Any HTC Droid you can screen shot by holding power and hitting home button

Screenshots on any iDevice can be taken by holding the home button and then pressing and releasing the power button :)

On topic: I noticed the difference today too.

Imo? I think many people will agree with you though. Maybe not to say it's tacky but it doesn't seem like people like it so far. It's definitely a change that took me by surprise. ;)
