Hi the feedbacks for spirit gears are amazingly bad and no change has been done for them.
I’ll tell some problems encountered with them in order to make it clear.
1-The weapons are a lot too weak.
In the current state of the game where you can’t do decent dmg in pve without any proc the procs given by the spirit weapons are just too bad. It is so bad that it can’t even do low lvl elite maus map. (See the video of Encryption) So for zodias even in normal it is just a far dream to play them even on alts.
2- The weapons are to hard to level up.
Since we have to play zodias to lvl up the weapons and we cannot do zodias with exclusively these weapons the lvl system of the weapon is complete non-sense. It is more looking like a punition to lvl them up than a reward.
3- The Spirit gear is hard to get. They are supposed to be gear we progress with on our alts but the way it is now components in order to craft them are just too hard to drop in élite zodias or gauntlet. We don’t even have loot tables available in order to know where do they drop if this is a problem of the map we are playing.
There are some solutions I can give you to improve the game experience with this stuff.
1-2-I’d suggest to make them lvl up with the character as the arcane dimensional ring if their purpose is to make them gear we will use on our alts for lvling. Also players should feel the difference when using them during their lvling experience after each lvl to make it rewarding to have them. At least making them better or equal of the arc lvl 76 gear should be the norm in term of dmg proc then make them equal or slightly bellow mythic 81 gear at end game. The way it is now we have to be fund of suffering or disappointment to play this kind of gear.
3- Make it that endgame players with enough experience, playtime, gold can get them. As an exemple they could be some rewards from endgame zodias APS like you need to achieve some aps to build it. (50k PVE kills, 10000 élite zodias mobs, 1000 élite zodias boss as an exemple). If you wanted them to be tradable increasing the drop rate of their component and spreading them into différents maps is an option to so that forced people to play different elite zodias maps to get them. Another option is to make the components buyable with fantom tokens.
Otherwise it is better to just remove them from the game because instead of being source of disappointment because of being a bad and rare item they could be much more they’d rather not exist.
