New Art Contest by Nat&Tat!

Due to the events of the Hat Competetion and how it sadly turned out the way it did; my partner and I decided to hold our own art contest to lighten up the mood!

Everyone will have the opportunity to create and submit their own drawing, there will be no age-limit because there will be no copyrights involved. This is simply for enjoyment.

The theme of the drawing will be to draw an alien with any background of your choice to embrace the long awaited Ao3, whenever it may arrive!

Nathalie and I will be the judges as we are neutral with all players. We will judge based on creativity and not art quality! We want to see the happy and creative side of this large community! :)

1st Place: 100k
2nd Place: 50k
3rd Place: 25k

Please stretch your imagination, create a background as well as an alien. Most of all, have fun doing it!

Rules:
One entry per person.
No mean comments about other's art.
Only appropriate drawings everyone!

All submissions start from now and will end on Monday the 6th at 12pm CST

Please do get involved and take advantage of being part of a happy community.

this is what I came up after messing around on my iPad. it's one of those black djinn gang members, being chased by aliens and Pocket Animals galore. looks more like he's some hero rather than an incinvinience during farming plasma.

The "sword" that the alien is holding I have deemed the Lightning Sword Of Mercy. The bow that the archer is holding I have deemed "The Blue Ramses Bow Of Lightning". The alien is wearing a radio control set and he's talking to the aliens in the ship, who happen to have matching radio equipment! Oh and the doll the alien is holding is the new Mummy Doll of Preservation! Fear it!

Edit: The arrow is Riamond Tipped. It's a newly discovered material stronger than diamond! :O

i didnt bother entering the helmet designing competition because their was so much drama... that and no matter how good my helm is drawn nobody would vote for me because i already have a pl shield... and people wouldnt want me to have a second one ;)

i have so much free time atm... i might draw somthing up for fun..

i seriously rushed my drawing for the sword design competition... that and i didnt wanna make it too complicated because i couldnt find an eraser lol.

ill post a drawing in the next few days.. just for fun :)

p.s.. does the alien have to look like the aliens in pocket legends... or can i just make up an alien... maybe if its good the devs could make it a boss in ao3 ;)

p.s.s i just remembered i drew a picture of an alien when i was in high school... if i find it can i just post that?

War that looks awesome lol i love the backround. That inspired me to actually draw something so watchout! :p, im making it stylized like the other enemies in PL (cartoony) as opposed to the realistic-ish angle.

Ok... I decided to be creative and go all out:D I got a photograph that I took last year in Death Valley and used that as the blank page and then drew my background items & my alien:D

First, let me give the history.

Once upon a time, there was a world called Pocket Legends. On that world was a place known as Alien Oasis where aliens from the nearest universe liked to gather for a drink or some recreation. Recreation consisted in attempts to decimate the local population of bears, mages, and birds. This population had became highly-skilled and diverse with hybrids and pures working together to fight the aliens. Recently, the aliens had caught a break because there was a flood of poorly-trained locals due to the vile useless teachings of a has-been burnout wizard named Mynas.

A new group of aliens, known as Clownus Alienus are flying in to join the game. They are never able to sneak into a world because their spaceship clearly is a clown. Anyone who sees the spaceship of the Clownus Alienus knows that it harbors a bunch of clowns. Being that they are clowns, the Clownus Alienus have no clue how obvious they are. Not that it matters. Clownus Alienus have one of the most feared weapons in the universe- the dreaded Clown Laugh Lance. One touch of the Clown Laugh Lance and the victim typically dies instantly. If the victim is lucky enough to survive, he/she goes running from the plasma pyramid crying for his/her mama.

The generic blue aliens (Genericus Alienus) got a text message saying, THE CLOWNS ARE ON THE WAY! So now they are just hanging out waiting on the clowns.

My drawing is of one of the most infamous generic blue aliens. His name is Jazzy Blue. He was outside the Plasma Pyramid taking a powder when he noticed the clown spaceship arriving. He then did what any infamous generic blue alien would do when spotting a clownship arriving. He laid his Djinn Spear of Isis down on the ground and broke out his saxophone so he could play the Pocket Legends national anthem to welcome the clowns.
