I think there is a bug where u cant craft for example Saphira egg. I looted the arcanite pet summoning scroll but u cant put it in the icon to craft the egg with it.
I hope u understand it :)

Do you have the Companion Essence components required to craft the Egg?

To craft an Egg during this event you will need a variety of Companion Essence components and the Summoning Scroll.

I think he means when you are in the crating section , it should show that you have the respective material but for act and it doesn’t.
For example in the pictures below you can see I have the heroic summoning scroll and it shows I have 2/1, I have 2 arcane also but it shows 0/1.

i was also confused with this took me a little while to figure out clicking on the egg shows an inventory of eggs you

It’s not about that but about the arcane summoning scroll , I got 2 in the inventory but in the crafting section it shows I have 0/1 which means I can t craft the egg even tho I got the material needed.

Do you have the correct Scroll? There are three distinct Scrolls: one for Arcane, one for Heroic and one for Arcanite.

Jeah i missed that too. There are arcane scrolls and ARCANITE scrolls.
