Cancel craft is not giving gold back for event eggs

I'm not getting gold back when cancelling craft on event eggs, I cancelled crafting on an arc saphire egg and it didn't give back my 1 million gold. I'm not sure if it took essences too because I had a good amount of them, IGN Thewolfbull if you want to check it

There's a confirmation dialog when you hit cancel that states, "Cancelling returns component items, but gold cost will be lost." Just tried it and the essences were returned when I cancelled.
