NOTICE: new yeti pets!
Elite Blizzard Crafting
Frozen Nightmare pinks, Shivering, Iceberg, Brain-freeze could be crafted into elites called "blizzard elites".
The Blizzard Elites will be a dark blue recolor of Shivering, Iceberg, and Brainfreeze.
These items are crafted with Blizzard Shards that you receive from Frozen Nightmares.
Example set:
- Blizzard Ice Auto Crossbow
- Blizzard Frozen Yeti Leather
- Blizzard Frozen Avian Helmet
Wearing a blizzard set awards you a blizzard ring, blizzard amulet, and a yeti pet. These items complete your set, and give a bonus particle effect, dark blue snowflakes.
Black and green ice crafting:
- Black-ice blizzard weapons:
A darker recolor that would have a higher chance of freeze proc.
- L32 Green-ice blizzard weapons:
A dark green recolor that would have the highest chance of freeze proc
- Black yeti: (200 plat recipe)
Equipped weapons have a chance of freeze proc, 1k damage, armor, health
- Green yeti: (400 plat recipe)
Equipped weapons have higher chance of freeze proc, 2k damage, armor, health
Set bonus particles:
Wearing a green-ice blizzard weapon and green yeti with a blizzard set gives:
green snowflake particle effect.
Wearing a black-ice blizzard weapon and black yeti with a blizzard set gives:
black snowflake particle effect.
Crafting for platinum
Black-ice and green-ice blizzard crafting materials cannot be obtained without a 20 platinum elixir. Black-ice blizzard recipes cost 200 platinum each, and green-ice blizzard recipes cost 400 platinum each.
However regular L30 blizzard recipes/crafting materials still drop for free, but they're untradeable.
It would cost 3000 platinum to buy every black and green ice recipe, because there are 9 weapons, and 2 pets.
The blizzard set bonus would be similar to the elite sandstone set bonus, but higher damage and crit.
Extra details:
Yeti pet gives 60 damage, 25% luck (in PvE!)
Here is the chronological order of each update, in terms of when each of these should be released.
1. Sandstone elite crafting update (Recently added "Diamond Crystalline" check post for more details)
2. Dark forest sets & crafting update (goes hand in hand with sandstone update)
3. L30-32 elite blizzard crafting update
4. Balanced pets for every campaign (Doesn't sell platinum, but important for the long term success of PL)
It's recommended to release these updates during or after events, when the playerbase is most active.
