First off wanted to say. Being able to change the camera angle is so refreshing to do in this event. As a veteran pl player. It is so nice to be able to rotate the screen around. I know a lot of former pl players that tried to get into al but couldn’t because they couldn’t get use to not moving the camera angle. It feels a little choppy when compared to pl. But it’s still very nice. Would it be possible to implement this into the whole game?

Unfortunately, no. Labyrinth is the first dungeon to support an unlocked PvE camera and we were actually trying to recapture that PL navigation feel.

In order to have decent performance on mobile devices a decade ago, most of the early PvE zones/towns were made only to be viewed from a limited camera angle so that artwork doesn't have geometry on the backside. Hardware improved over time and later zones like houses, guild halls, pvp maps, some later tilesets were made with a 360 view in mind.

In order to unlock the camera everywhere, we'd have to go back and touch a majority of the environment art and that's just something we don't want to spend time/resources on.

Ah understandable that explains why it feels different from how pl’s camera angle works. Thanks for the response. I would say it was a very close replica. Just idk the way to put it. To sensitive I guess is the way to put it.

The next app update will allow you to adjust the camera rotation sensitivity.
