This is "fixed" if you patch (log out and log in), but there's a side effect. Unfortunately, the squirrels were not built in such a way to allow an aura per squirrel and allow raising off the ground. I know there are other dual-pets that do, but the squirrels are different. The side effect is now there is a single aura under both squirrels rather than an aura per squirrel.
