How about a just for fun npc somewhere like Kraag that is very questionable. He could have lines like "Praise the mighty dragons!" or "Repent for the end is near! Fighting will take you to glory!"

It is done really well in Novigrad in Witcher 3 with the priests saying nonsense but people gathered around and listening. I am wondering what do these guys believe? In our own middle ages we used religion to justify dumb stuff. Characters like Dead Ted, Quimbly the Witless, the orc in the cage at Garetta, those are my favorite.
