Why is it after we open our new guildhall, the old guildhall is void like nothing. I think this is unfair, the old gh should have been preserve where someway we can switch back to it when we want. We paid for the old gh and without ominous warning it's just gone. I hope sts will see this thank you.

Just went through the experience and it does feel kinda clunky (replacing your guild hall ejects you from the zone). It has been this way from the beginning of guilds and, unfortunately, I don't see it changing since the guild hall system works differently than housing and house deeds which were added sometime later.
That said, I'll get a warning popup added that informs you will lose your current guild hall if you move forward with obtaining a different one.
