Revelation is NOT DEAD!

As adults with normal lives: familes, work, school, etc we do come and go however we are far from dead.
I must apologize to my guild for neglecting them so much these past few months. It is a testament to how great a guild we really have that we can survive even the lowest times of uncertainty.
We made several changes to the guild, the way we do things, and members. But glad to say we had all members that originally started the guild on last last. Amy, Azi, Awwmang, Love, Colt, and myself. We are leveling and gathering back our beloved members!
For anyone interested in joining Revelation we have created an active recruit guild called Dynasty. All players that PvP are welcome to join and train!! If you prove to be a great person in game as well as friendly, useful, fair, honest, loyal, and hard working you will be asked to join the official Revelation guild. We will keep an eye on you and help develope your skills too. Each officer in Rev has several ALTS/Toons in Dynasty.
Also, on another note, I will be hosting tournaments again.

We just had an officer meeting. We have removed the bulk of our roster. We will not be actively recruiting in the near future.

Furthermore, if you are given an invite, please do not take unless it has been approved by the senior officers. Anybody found in the guild without prior consent will be kicked without warning. I do intend to be more active within PL, real life permitting, and I will be reviewing the roster regularly.

Truth by told, I am saddened that it has come to this (I was not on when the decision was made), but I'm forced to agree with the decision made. There were many people that the officers found to be quite disagreeable, not matching our standards of maturity, who had tense relationships with existing guild members, who simply were not a good fit, or most importantly who did not meet the standards for PvP skill in the guild. We even had one kill booster in the guild. As such, we've made a mass removal of pretty much every non-officer. Several of the people kicked who we do feel are a good fit (and should not have been kicked) will be re-invited or offered a position in Dynasty.

Outside of that, as mentioned, we will not be openly recruiting for Revelation. Dynasty however, is open for recruitment.

I don't blame you for your decision, but it was bound to have consequences ... something that will have to be dealt with as a guild.

But for now, I think we need to try our best no matter how hard to lay down our past grievances. If we fail, then the guild fails. Remember that. Parth is a member, unless he does something that the guild sees fit to dismiss him, he is a member. Let's stop living in the past and move on.

Parth's character isn't in question. What is in question is how well the guild would receive him and whether that would impair the long term future of the guild. Truth be told, I would prefer Parth in the guild. But it's clear that there is sufficient controversy that I recommended to Mitch what I judged to be in the best interests of the guild - minimize division.

What I see is an embittered individual trying to sow doubt and dissent into me.

When I make my recommendations to the guild, I always consider the consequences, and the long term, ramifications to the guild. I am fully aware that when the guild makes a decision, standing behind that is a living person that will be affected. But I am also aware of the consequences of making the wrong decision. Although I am not on as much as I should be, I do take great personal responsibility for the well being of Revelation.

I may not agree with Mitch on Parth but I will stand behind and respect his decision. And I will defend Parth's right to be treated as a member and do what I can to end internal disputes as I did above. I'm too loyal to Mitch and the guild not to.

I'll say this much to you, I didn't come to my decision to recommend against your invite lightly. I did so after careful deliberation and discussion with my fellow guildies. Given your behavior here I firmly believe I made the right recommendation.

Whatever else, I hope that you find a guild that you can call home. But it is not here. I have nothing else to say to you.

Ok to begin with, I'd guess that Necro is probably a very influencial member within his own guild. Having spent time in other games, there are often guilds that have been around for years. At that point, the officers often command significant influence within the guild and run many of the day to day decisions. It's quite common - especially for large guilds. Once a guild reaches a certain size, it just makes sense to have many people running it - a GM would otherwise get burned out. Similarly, GMs often have others run their raids or PvP teams to mitigate stress. If you've ever run a guild, you'll understand how much effort is required.

I'll say this much - you played no part in my decision to become active again in pl. I have had discussions with several people, and most of them far more in depth than the brief exchange we had. How did you come to that conclusion? Lol. To be me an in depth conversation with somebody usually lasts 2+ hours, sometimes more. I think that the longest time I've ever spent conversing with someone was about 6-8h, during which time, we did very little save talk and consider the implications of what we said to each other.

When a game changes in a way pl did, the only thing that you stay for is your close friends. You know perfectly well how unhappy I am with the way that PL has changed.

I've been so caught up being active in game and running tournaments I didn't see any of this. My apologies.
Also thank you Elf for being such a great member, you are truly valued and regarded in the highest.

A lot of Rev have gone to unity or other guilds, and it does pain me considerably to see that happen. Each member i've ever had I hold in high respect. I remember everyone, and losing one under any conditions is near heart breaking. It can be hard to please everyone all the time, but I am working towards rebuilding my guild. The one me Amy Azi mang love and colt started. Many of us have kids, jobs, school, wifes, family problems etc. so I'm sorry for not being there often enough.
Good news is we are recruiting new friends and talent to dynasty, and some are about to be moved to Rev. There are good players out there, and our goal is to help them, not team bully or put down/beat on. That's always been revs principle morals.

Glad, I would like to work things over between you, me, and other members of rev. I do care about you Kevin and ask others to be kind as well. I don't regret having Parth back, however I do regret making you "homeless" honestly I don't want any friends to be homeless. Glad its obvious to me you have a lot of passion and heart. Key qualities.

Also would like to say thanks to the loyal rev members and friends. Means a lot to me. I've been playing more, 2 capped chars. So I'm here If any one wants to come back home.

I've had some real life issues go on.

I just moved last week so I haven't been on much. Also, I may be due for surgery soon (gotta book an appointment with the doctor tomorrow) and combined with the fact that my next university semester is starting this week ...

How often were you active and fully geared? That's a large factor of being selected.
