Yes I believe it is time to host some tournaments, it seems like Humania is finally settling down and people are getting sets! Look out for 3 tournaments I will host for each class!
This will be a bracket style tournament. Starting each bracket with a minimun of 16 participants, if we have a good turn out I can always make more room :)
It will be levels 66+ for Mages, Birds, and Bears- meaning each class will fight against their own, in gear specified for the class. So no warbirds, pallies, dexbears, intbears, intbirds, dexmages. Each class must use their own class specific gear, but you may for example use a bear w half dex but it must only use Str gear. Anyone caught using other pieces will be disqualified. Angel gear is allowed.
Mages will fight mages in either wand or staff, that is up to you. They will fight to ten best of 3 rounds.
Bears will fight other bears either 1h or 2h swords to ten best of three.
Birds will fight birds as dex, so bows and talons are allowed. They will fight 1v1 FFA best of 5. Yes it is different for birds since dodge/luck is so critical, we want to reduce luck with lengthier matches that require skill instead of luck to win. Once both parties agree to go the match will begin whoever hits 10 wins first wins a round, but you must win 3 to advance. Once you hit 10 you restart the next round by agreeing to go again.
Kiting, tree hugging, running is allowed. You may not leave the match to avoid a death. More rules to come when I create the actual tournaments.
Please give me some feedback , it has been awhile since I've hosted a tournament. As always there is no entrance fee and you must register via forums when it opens.
