nope, I think among myself, itold , tail and a few others we spent 15b+ and opened 20000+ bags, no hammer. Still don't believe it's added. oh well

respectfully, I do not understand why STS would make an extremely elusive, rare drop, wait until it's sought after, then put it in the vendor for dirtttt cheap. I do not get it, I wasted billions for a 1m item.

I will forever be confused by this decision,
if none dropped from the exclusive crates in your 2-week window:
calculate the drop rates, and how many crates are being opened, then give us more crates early into the items lifecycle so that one might actually spawn. Even with adding crates to manor, the drop rate was too low.
OR leave it as an item that nobody dropped. or at the "very least" let us know that it will be added to the vendor lol

On a positive note, the dragon costume is dope, and the new Halloween sets are great, and The set effects are amazing

No, it is literally gambling. Think of it like this,
a casino saying the "jackpot" of a slot is a brand new ferarri, telling everyone you "have to" gamble to win it, people spend billions to get this ferarri (that nobody has! It is 1 of a very limited stock, super rare), then the week after the promotion ends nobody won the ferarri... they sell the ferarri for $4, and as it turns out, they had an infinite stock of that ferarri the entire time. They have every right to sell that ferarri for $4 but the illusion of exclusivity is gone and the people who spent billions will be left scratching their heads...

if you (STS) want people to keep gambling (which I assume is one of your main sources of income) you need to keep the illusion of exclusivity up, and this is why I am confused by this move, you hurt whales and basically signal that at any point in time your rare jackpot is liable to be duplicated, which disincentivises people to gamble with that knowledge. I am trying to help you STS The main gamble now isn't even % drops o the crates, it's the random luck of what devs will add to the vendor

It would be better to add a new banner as part of the new sets rather than putting the shield on the vendor. Some players got rip off already by adding the hammer into the vendor. Atleast with a new banner the price of the shield wouldn't be affected that much while giving more players a chance to complete the sets, which is pretty OP with the upcoming new level cap. (Didn't Cinco even said that disabling xp kits would help evening the playing-field for the race to a new cap?)

It is pretty obvious as to why the Deadly Dragkin Platinum Axe was added to the vendor, and not the Deadly Dragkin Platinum shield.

If you look at the bigger picture and to what is fair.

No one in game looted the Axe from Halloween bags, not one.

However, many numerous Shields have been looted on game from the Warlocks castle crates

Out of the goodness of their hearts Sts added the Axe to the vendor to compensate players for not being able to loot the rare axe. Similarly like during last WinterFest event. Where the Holiday Lights sheild was added to the vendor, when only one was looted on game.

Players need to consider there is more to the decisions made on game then to take things personally because they don't get what they desire. Food for thought.

At least they should have added a banner to complete the new sets. Makes no sense to release FOUR sets, but the ONLY item that can complete them costs 1B. What made everyone think that there would at least be an untradeable shield/banner in the tier vendor.

Originally the sets where 2 and 3 pieces, but there was a bug with all the sets and the bonuses got applied, where we could mix the sets and receive the double bonus stats.

Since then sts have fixed this overpowered bug by increasing the set bonus with an extra piece, including better statistics.

So now the sets require 3 and 4 pieces to complete them.

I already explained why the shield was not added to the vendor because many have been looted in game.

Your desires to complete the 4 piece set is driven by cost. You quantify the 4th piece by its current cost of 1 billion gold.

Your idea of adding a banner in the vendor will significantly affect those currently with the shield as well as affecting those wishing to open more warlock castle crates in then future, to loot the shield.

I don't see any issues in keeping the drop rate as it is, because we do need an exclusive item that's can be looted from the crates.

Again your own personal desires out weigh the balance and good of the game.

As you said the sets were originally meant to be 2/3 sets. So completable by everyone. Only because of cinco did not find a solution to fix the errors with the interactions, he had to move them to 3/4.

Gameplay affecting stuff should not cost 1B. Maybe your own desire (since you own the shield) also affects you :) Not wanting other players to have full sets, with a different item, like new banner etc (so shields rareness isn't even touched), seems... selfish?

I lost millions on halloween bags and never loot hammer
I am still happy that they added the hammer. This event was new player friendly also those who didnt has gold to play this was a good way for them to make golds. Thank you sts what you did was a great idea. No need everytime richs get richer

And I'm pretty sure if you support Fwend's sentiment... you own the 1b shield. Nail on the head on that one.

Also cinco mentioned a gold sink in the new cap because inflation is out of hand? So why did he make a 50% GL ring and 3 new gold loot sets??

I can't imagine any of this will help PL in the short term or long term

make the halloween top 10 shield part of the Dragkin set . as yr before was the ghostly wings part pf the drakula set . and year before that alien helm and armor part of the full alien set
