Enchantress that uses range?

I see many people mixing stuff like enchantress who range or warriors who use magic, I was wondering if that's better then being just a normal ranger who ranges. Because I am thinking of making an enchantress that ranges what are the pros and cons

thats a bad idea since after the update, the more dex for archers, int for mages, and str for str, the stronger your skills will be. thats why twinks will be powerless after update

yeah, im a bowtress...all dex mage, and i love it. but it seems ill be re rolling int.

more int = more damage/heal.
