Can 1 of the not yet released arcane items for lvl 81 be farmable and NOT in locks? New Arcane ring maybe?
Here is how I think it should be farmed in a way that gets the devs money as well as having something for people to grind: Add some sort of tradable hunter elixer buyable for 10-30 plat (30minute lix) at zodias vendor that gives you a chance to loot 1 piece of crafting materials(here comes the part most won't like) can these materials be untradable too like crafting of old items like nekro egg was years ago? Drop rates need to be rare but not to rare.
Maybe add some extra stuff that can be looted with the hunter elixer that have lower droprates but ARE tradable like an aura or vanity items/furniture as a bonus that are in a different lootable to mats.
Each piece of material can drop in each of the zodias maps so 1 elite ekenta 1 elite mecharydon 1 elite rahabkhor 1 Gauntlet and 1 in each of the normal elite zodias maps from main bosses. Also add an extra item that can be bought for 10k fathoms, So 9 different pieces needed total all untradable BUT if you craft all into new (ring/pend/arti/belt) It is tradable.
Stats+proc will need to be very good, so it's worth the grind, I recommend it having high STR+INT+DEX (good for all classes) high health and fixed haste % with some sort of op proc, maybe damage over time proc?
