Gameloft releases the first gameplay trailer for Wild Blood

One game we are all keeping our eyes on is Wild Blood from Gameloft which will be their first Unreal Engine built game. We will be honest, we have been all over this game since we found out it was coming, even digging up the name before it was officially announced. Now we actually get to see in-game footage thanks to a new trailer.

Gameloft just loves to tease everyone with their upcoming games lately, holding one promo after another while releasing a ton of trailers. Thankfully they are doing this with Wild Blood as well as now we get to see what the game looks like and it looks pretty damn good so far.

As you can see in the video above, Wild Blood looks to be more of an Action game, possibly with RPG elements layered onto it. Combat doesn't look to be on-rails or anything like that and instead looks to be pretty fast-paced. We also get to see a variety of weapons used, from two-handed swords to dual-wielding maces (big ones) and even bows. Right near the end we also get to see a really big monster.

Overall this is really turning out to be a very promising looking game. Hopefully it won't be layered with in-game purchases and instead Wild Blood will be a premium game. Unfortunately we have to wait a little while longer to find that out.

Looking good though I'm not surprised because I've been waiting for this for quite a while. Since Gameloft announced they will release new games using unreal engine 3 on some of their new games, many people were (and still) excited because of the track record of unreal engine in PC/console/MAC. Anyway, I hope this game sees the light and not get scrapped like March of Heroes. That game was supposed to be the first one to use unreal engine, followed by Modern Combat 3 (which apparently didn't utilize unreal engine...still a good looking game nonetheless). As they say, third's time the charm. I hope this time, everything works out for Gameloft. Looking forward to this game as well. :P

PS: Unreal Engine 3 is being used by Infinity Blade games too, check those game out if you want to see the best looking games (in my opinion) out there at the moment in iOS. These games by gameloft powered by unreal engine can potentially look as wicked (if not surpass) as those infinity blade games...reason I say this is because Gameloft > Epic games, 'nuff said :P
