40-41 28k xp, 41-42 ? 42-43? ...

Is it just me or was the amount of xp needed for levels 40-41 (28k) a little out of sinc with levels 1-40? With that in mind what will level 45-46 require ...100k? I'm a little nervous about how much xp I'm going to need to level when the update comes out.

Don't worry. The xp curve will be changed after the update. The 28k xp requirement is because it's the elite cap for players who challenge themselves or want the extras that are awarded for the task. After the update, 40-41 will be brought down to probably 2,800. 41-42 will be around 3,000 and so forth.

I Think that lvl caps are all based on the maps and how much exp you get from doing runs like When 36 Was the cap they made it 48k But Shipyard was so easy and Voleria is pretty hard So Why not Drop the cap? But this is what i think lol

Simpler Terms:

Capping- Achieving the (current) highest level

When you cap, it takes a lot more xp than the other levels. When the level cap is raised, the previous cap will be reduced to what it should be.

In your case:
Lv39-40 takes about 2-3k
Lv40-41 (41 currently the highest level.) takes 28k
But once the level cap is raised to Lv46..
Lv40-41 will take around 2.5-4k

I believe it's gonna be a surprise because when the cap level was 36 it was 49k xp (I believe). :p

They might make it a bit higher though :p It depends on how hard the new map is because Shipyard was easy so it was easy to get xp.. Unlike Voleria, it's a much harder map and it's only 28k to cap :)

Nah, the devs said after the torture that was the 36 cap that they sat down and figured out that if they kept scaling the cap xp the same way that by the time the highest levels were released we'd be required to get millions of xp for cap. They felt this was too much.

Actually there is a lvl cap formula:*Lvl cap is x10 higher on exp than the lvl before

In DL: lvl 24 to 25 it's 1.760exp and from lvl 25 to 26 17.600 exp
In SL: lvl 39 to 40 it's 2.800 exp and from lvl 40 to 41 28.000 exp
In Pl it's actually same but now there's an interruption: it currently is from lvl 69 to 70 8.400 exp and from lvl 69 to 70 100.000 exp
