Prince Lev'Lar Returns!

Event runs from January 12th though 26th.

Prince Lev'Lar returns to Alterra to drop XP Orbs and Experience Kits!

+ Hunt down Prince Lev'Lar, loot his XP and sail to Level 115 with style and ease!
+ The Prince has a minimal chance to spawn anywhere in the realm (when a dungeon chest is opened).
+ Speak to Queen Avanca on the island in the "Dragkin Terror" Campaign and buy the trade-friendly Hunters' Elixir Kit.
+ The Prince has a much higher chance to spawn when defeating monsters in the "Molten Mountain" areas - but only when the Hunters' Elixir is active.

Special Kits and Vanity Items for Capped Legends!

+ Prince Lev'Lar does not drop XP Orbs for Legends that are already Level 115.
+ However, in addition to XP Kits, Level 115 players have a chance to loot Elixir Kits, Makeup Kits and special vanity items!
+ Level 115 players also have the opportunity to loot 5X Damage and 5X Experience Elixir Kits.
+ Prince Lev'Lar also has a chance to drop the "Electric Eye" and "Burning Gaze" Makeup Kits (again for Level 115's).

Do you need re-roll for looting vanities/gazes from Prince Levlar? And if not, will 100% re-roll cancel out vanity drops? I’ve heard different things from different people. Also, are the vanity drops in the new 115 campaign only? Thanks.

Only level 115 characters can loot mythic elixirs, make up kits and vanity items.

Because Mythic items do drop and the vanity item is lower on the loot table, in theory if you have luck you have a chance of rerolling your vanity item into a higer drop on the loot table.


The current loot table is as follows:

When you have luck% and or Reroll, it gives you a chance of chance to re-roll for a more rare item. (100% luck is maximum, any more than this is not necessary to reroll)

So if you start off with an item lower than elite you can reroll into a vanity.
But a vanity loot item can reroll into mythical or arcane.

But if a Vanity item is on top of the loot table, you can't reroll any higher

This event you can loot Mythic items (5x xp, 5x damage, 5x speed, make up kit) so Mythic's are highest on the loot table, that means if you loot a vanity it can reroll into a Mythic and you will lose the original Vanity drop.




So if when you are farming and you know there are Arcane or Mythic items that drop

You need to decide what you want to farm for.

Wear gear that has at least 100% luck, this will ensure that you reroll every time, it doesn't guarantee you the best drop of a Mythic or Arcane. It allows you to reroll your drop into a better drop higher on the loot table

VANITY

Wear gear with no luck at all, take off your combination blessing which has luck %.
You do not want any percentage of reroll at all, because any luck at all might give you the chance to reroll, and if your orginal drop is a Vanity item, it will reroll into another item higher on the loot table and you will lose the vanity.

Based from Futumsh words:
"Rerolls only go up one rarity, and you can't reroll to vanity rarity.
Rerolls only affect the specific loot table being rerolled, so if something gives loot from more than one table, a reroll won't pick from a different one."

I'm might be wrong but I believe vanities are usually on a different loot table than other lootable items, so reroll won't really affect vanity drops. A clarification about this from a dev/mod would be really helpful.

Level 115 players still gets XP Orbs when spawning Lev'Lar on other campaigns other than Dragkin Terror. Was this intended?

I think because this is a levelling event, it is best for any 115 capped characters to just farm the new campaign of The Dragkin Terorr .

Only characters under level 115 cap will benefit from any map not The Dragkin Terorr, because xp obs drop from Prince Lev'lar in lower campaigns.
