It's a simple enough design, there are dozens of fonts I've used that have something just as similar.

It's the Greek letter Lambda. It's been around a pretty darn long time, I really don't think STS just decided to rip Stargate off lol

First off, this is Lambda.

And I wasn't saying STS had ripped off stargate, any more than they ripped off any other franchise they've referenced in their games. I was just pointing out that it seemed to be cool coincidence to me.
