So is it just me or is there more xp between lvls now? I member breezing 40-50 on my bear and mage in ao in maybe a couple days, but goin threw there with my bird has been hell. I was 46 yesterday did about 4-5hrs strait xp runs and stopped at 48. Today the same thing except 5-6hrs strait and just now made it to 50. Like i said could just be be me though

Hmm idk lol at 50 only one lvl left now so im threw. @thelonestud i havnt used any elixs except dailys on this bird as its my first bird and i like to learn my class/skills/roll i play in a party before goin all out.@hades wasnt that the cap though?

Actually I remember 48-50 being the most difficult because at that level you can't yet wear the lvl50 gear, so you are kind of underpowered for AO3, but you can't go back to AO2 because you no longer get xp there. So you are stuck in a place that is way too difficult for you. I think most of my deaths came during those levels. Once I reached 50 I was able to equip my mystery armor and helm and that helped a lot.

In most other campaigns, the set items are scaled, for example you can get lvl21 or 23 onyx or earthquake gear, or you can get lvl51 or 53 gemstone gear, but in AO3 there are no scaled sets. The rift, void & cosmos are only level 50 as are the quest set items like mystery & cyber. So you are kind of stuck until you reach 50.

ahhh ok yea i just grinded all night last night for cyber cosmos set. This be my set tell i acquire 51 mm set and ff mix and match lol @cookiez, this is the int bird i mentioned in pvp forums. So far i realize str/int is better then dex/int, as birds have the skill to increase hit% im still getting 141%. I was pretty squisy when i went in pvp lol got two hits and i was dead. Also still lvl50 but with ff set that increases hp regen and mm increases mana regen. Thats why i say mix and match, won't get set bonus, but say +6 regen from helm,armor, and shield add mm wand should be good to go

Has anyone actually finished the cyber quest in time to actually wear the gear? I didn't finish the quests until I was lvl64 and obviously by then I had no use for the gear, so it sits in my stash.

I finished my set in time to still get some use out of it, although it took a concerted effort. There wasn't much window to use it before moving on to sewer gear though.

if your making another end game toon you can just switch cyber to them tell 55 i say only reason buy 51sewer is for pvp

The complete opposite. Sts lowered the amount of xp between levels a while ago and even lower at the humania release.

That was my plan. I have a bear, but instead of getting the str cyber set, I went for the dex one with the plan that eventually I may make a bird and then have the set for the bird. So far I haven't made a bird, so set just sits in stash.

I thought 66 was a pain, that was my first cap in pl. Then 71 came and all i can say is wow. It was to slow in humania, so i bought my first 800 plat pack, bought double xp for 7 days tried again, still was slow. So i grabbed thrasher went to balefort secret passage and used alot of xp enablers. That was alot faster, then realized mega maze gave bout 100 more xp a run and got to 71 in 3-4 days. Havnt stepped foot since into humania, not even to do obd quest. I cant imagine how some of you of grined to every single cap much respect to you peeps that have made it every single cap
