So, I got really addicted to Star Legends. But the only downside is that I need a wi-fi connection to play. I really want to farm by myself when going outside of my house where wi-fi connection is not available. Hope you can make it happen in the next update, STS! Btw, I'm really satisfied with the great work so far. Keep it up! :-)

There was a topic about this same request in the past, although for PL.

Offline wouldn't work because everything is server based. If there would be a drop system that happens on someone's offline client, it would mean it can be easily tampered with. For example, someone could modify the code on their device to get an infinite amount of good drops without STS having any possibility to check if it was legit, because it wasn't done on any of their servers.

So, for security reasons, this would be a big NO.

I actually think that this is a really good idea personally, but as the previous post said, it wouldn't be a MMO anymore. The whole point of a MMO is to play with others.

Haha, of course you'd like that idea, you were the one who posted that for PL, if I remember correct.

Actually, even though its server based anyone could still easily tamper with the code(" packets"-)

Only advance programmers(i do stuff like this for a living) would actually know how to modify online data transferred from servers no matter how secure it is.

Besides, i don't hack or whatsoever cos i like to grind :)

Lol the request is quite controversial in nature..

Asking for a singleplayer server you mean single player missions i guess, coz having server means you have to connect to it

but again - asking for offline single missions in a MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) game is against the logic of gameplay. It's like asking Santa to steal presents, not to bring them..

One of the reasons is that all interactions with the game world are made with live world and all results are stored online to prevent hacking, modding and other scamming

I bet there are many offline/single player dungeon crawlers in appstore/playstore.. Tho i can not disagree that those stores lack sci-fi themed applications

I know a couple of solutions though:

1) you can play from your phone (apple iPhone or any android-based) via mobile (cellular) internet connection - EDGE or 3G or 4G

2) if you dont like small screens and your tablet is wi-fi only (like mine) you can set your phone (apple iPhone or any android-based) to transmit cellular internet signal into wifi frequency and connect to your phone with wifi-only tablet

I hope it helps

Peace
