Questions on creating a custom set [Archive]

When creating a custom set, is it necessary to build in any particular order to receive set bonus or just that all materials be on hand to be done in a single visit to the blacksmith?
and,
Is it possible to create a set with multiple weapons, and if so does it have any affect on bonus stats? ...wanting to build dex set in Fang with Bow, Crossbow, and Dagger.

Hey there,

For question 1, you can take however long and however many visits you want to craft a set.
You can do the weapon one day, the armor the next, and the helm the following day.
You can craft the items in any order you want.
You get the set bonus once you get all three or four necessary set pieces.

Question two, yes, you can create a set with multiple weapons.
Just like Mage can get the set bonus for Crafted Lilith with Wand or Staff, Birds can get the set bonus with Bow, Crossbow, or Dagger (any weapon that is craftable will give the set bonus when equipped with armor and helm).

The set bonus is the same bonus applied to you whether you have the Bow, Crossbow, or the Dagger.
However, this set bonus is added to stats from the gear that you have equipped.
You will obviously have more DPS on the Dagger Set than the Crossbow or Bow set because the Dagger weapon gives more DPS than the Crossbow or the Bow.
But on the Dagger Set, you will get the same set bonus for Crafted Sanguine as the one you get from Bow or Crossbow Set.
