Update Auction System

Maybe update Auction System similar to how albion market/auction works

As you can see in the image sell order and buy order how

Sell order - where the seller can set the price you want
Buy order - Where other players list the a price for the specific item they want

If the seller sells egg worth 100g and there's 200g buy order the egg seller automatically gets 200g since it's the highest bid

There's also a market history to see how much/when was the last item sold , you can see it's average price in 1 month to avoid overpricing and misinformation

And ofc tax increase for gold sink

Sell order 8%tax (just old auction but lil bit increase)
Buy order 10-15% tax (since it's like offline buying you don't need to be online all the time to buy stuff )


What do you think?

We might see the list of all item available ingame xd but this is just an idea

I've wanted to buy weak nature for 500g each
But I'm not online all the time to keep track of auction if this gets approved huge help (maybe try at jewels first see how it works out)

Sounds like alot of work for sts and if you ask me thats a terrible way to make an Consignment Shop. Buying stuff offline? Comon, there is nothing left to this game that you manually do. Merchants with ungodly amounts of gold dont need more purchasing options, specially ones that require 0 effort.

Auction history sounds fine but games should be allowed to run their course. Not every item sells thousands in a month and It would be quite easy to manipulate rare item prices.

People would be quite wary to pay higher taxes on things than they already do.

i saw people discouraging average sell price etc etc due to 'manipulation' by alt accounts, but if you were to make a graph with all recent sales over time frames (i.e. 1d, 7, 30d, 365d) then it'd be very easy to spot manipulation. and it wouldn't be 'average sell price' anymore, it would just show you each individual sale. i think having a graph negates manipulation techniques and makes it completely pointless. theres no need for an average sale price, but a graph can do the job well

Yeah i didn't notice xd
But about the buy order option it would be nice to have automatic buy order placed so even if I'm offline my buy order will just keep buying things for me

Yes, wanted to buy would be nice but there are 100,000+ items and selecting/filtering that list would be a nightmare (for us).

I'll consider this when implementing the vanity closet since I'll need to have a way to view/list every vanity in the game and there are far fewer vanity items.

i personally dont like the buy order thing, i think it would make the auction system almost completely 'botted'. i like the way it is.

i think a graph 'with applicable details, such as when u click the sold item (the dot indicating the sale in this case) on the graph, it pops up with the item and the details (such as the awakes it has, etc.)' A little off-topic, but I also wanna recommend the ability to click a person's items to see their awakes/item description, this is for when viewing another player's equipment. it'd be a popup u can click out of, but it'd be extremely insightful.

so simply
1. a graph over time frames showing each sale, allowing you to click each sale to see the item details. extremely insightful since u know what price it sold at and the items awakenings, jewels and whatnot.
2. completely different topic, but more details on other peoples' equipment via a popup of the item details, similar to how u would click an item in ur inventory to see the items description, awakenings, etc. this applies to #1 too.

Hmm i know how you feel, are ur Game Dev team already asked ChatGPT for this problem? (Maybe forgot). Because I often ask him about programming problems and totally reliable.
