of course i know that. But how? I don't assume that you just stand and deal damage without doing anything.

dmg is simple.
and dps is dmg per sec
so if u have 100 dmg with 200 dps,
ull hit 100 dmg in half second. so ull hit twice in 1 second.
but.. if u have 2h weapon, u can hit 118 with 100 dps (not exactly.)
so ull hit only one hit every second!
so basicly u want to high dmg and high dps.
