The pirate one? Should have entered the tournament of corruption last year. There were so many cheaters they just scrapped the whole contest and gave us all shields :) It was AWESOME!

They might deserve recognition, I'd give that to them as I know it is time consuming. But to award plat IMO is too much. To determine which tourney is a "success" would be in one's opinion. What would be the criteria? And I'm asking that literally for discussion on what the communities thoughts would be on it.... Keeping arguments to a minimum? ( based on the players) Getting it done in a timely manner (which is solely Based on the players), getting a large number of people involved including Many who have never visited forums? (this I would consider worthy but not sure how you would merit it), keeping rules simple and ACCURATE before such tourney begins?

Personally, they do deserve a thank you. But aren't they already recognized on the forums with a title?
Like I said, I'm not saying no to this idea, just think further discussion would need to be addressed.

Tournaments are a constant adjustment. In order to complete them you must always make decisions and troubleshoot. Unfortunately circumstances arises whether player created, new caps, gear, etc.
Every tournament i've hosted has had issues. I'd like to hear some suggestions as to how to make these events more successful though.

some players measure success by if they won or not, if he/she did not win it is not a success and they blame everything else, instead of having fun and being a good sport.

Don't underestimate Imkelly or Mrvietnamese, it's disrespectful to think you're automatically going to win vs her or him.

I honestly think you shouldn't be allowed into more tourneys as I was really hoping that the bear tourney would be like the last one, respectful, but I can see that you lack the sportsmanship to make that happen.
