He has several toons in SL I know the toon he has in AoB is green or its the other way around.

Dev would imply that he developed the game, don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure Sam is the community guy. No matter what colour his name is.

Makes sense to me
I'm assuming the red name Sam's walking around with just shows that he's a sts staff, not a temp. one from other companies like some of the mods...i think.
