Weapon attack speed modification

What if we got haste for skill cooldown and haste for the attack button (attack speed) separated.
I think all that haste in game from pets making the kraken/zaarus and other procable weapons/set too OP.
Also maybe introducing a new type of gem that gives attack speed stats..?

We'll consider it for the skill revamp, but it's unlikely. Unfortunately, ping would affect attack speed since weapon attack isn't an on/off. Haste is allowed for skills since they have a larger recharge time than your weapon attack.
