Hello.

This thread is a venue where players can share their PC specs that allows them to play their favorite PC games in max setting. This is to help other PC gamers on how they'll customize theirs should they also decide to play the same game. I'll go ahead and start:

GUILDWARS 2:
Motherboard: Asus P8H77-M LE H77 VSL
CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 (3.2G) 6mb 22nm
Video Card: Zotac GTX560 OC 1gb ddr5 256bit hdmi
Power Supply: Thermaltake Smart 530W 80+
RAM: Corsair 4GB ddr3 (VS2GB1333D3) (2x2)
HDD: 1.0TB WD Blue Sata3 7200rpm 4080

No overclocking. This allows me to run Guildwars2 on max setting at 50-60FPS doing PVE, and max setting at 30-35 FPS in World vs. World vs. World PVP. I can do better in World PVP between 35-50FPS if setting is reduced. I know this isn't the best setup, but hey, it gets the job done for its cost. This setup is probably around $700, and if you include peripherals and everything else to complete this gaming rig, it'll probably end up around $850-$1000 depending on your preferences like LED, mouse, keyboard, and headset. Just the right budget for a gamer rig, not too expensive, not too cheap. What's yours? I'd love to see how you guys specced your rigs, maybe I'll play your games too in the future and consider re-calibrating.

Wow sweet rig you got there. I'll stick to my setup maybe 'til around Christmas...depending on my need I'll consider upgrading too. By the way, do you use battleping for your games?

Was pretty stunned when I came across it (well the UK version funny enough, others are lower standard and spec'd), they do have a lot better upgrades to these now (: (So tempted to get the little Alienware model that looks like a super mini xbox lol, x50 or something)

Never considered it the "best" but it's done a great job for what I needed it for. Want to check out some new models, might even start back up on putting together a rig myself. (Desktop though, can cost a bomb!)

Lately Battleping has been a "hot" subject, and if/when I start playing GW2/TSW I'll consider signing up. (Obviously first check what my standard Ping is like for the UK, and possibly 4G all over the joint soon)

Guessing vampinoy is having to much fun on GW2? Haha

Let me know how Battle Ping is if you see this post.
