Forum downtime on Saturday 9/15/12

Hey everyone,

We had a hardware issue earlier today, Sept. 15, 2012 with the host for the forums. After fixing that problem we had a couple database issues as a result that needed sorting. Everything on the forums should be fixed and back in action. Our apologies for the unexpected downtime.

The same thing still happens every morning. (Same Server Database error)

Me, Tankk and Glutt if I remember correctly made a post about it over on the "Forum Discussions" but never heard anything back.

We guessed it was daily maintenance, but were never given an explanation.

So my question is, What is the downtime each morning/night for? It lasts around 20-40 mins at times.

It's been happening on a regular basis too. (Other sites tied to it are going down :p)

It does, and mine, too, to get rid of their greedy ways. Seriously, charge for the app, then charge for the ability to upload pictures, now charging for color packs? Tapa Devs are on an out and out money grab. One star!

Kinda suck now that u need to pay for the ability to upload pics.
I think($3) is seriously overpriced for a forum app.

Lol! I agree, but I refuse to use site specific apps because I would have about 10 apps just for forum crap.
