Downloading now - for iPad at least. I love my jailbroken iPhone, do not upgrading yet.

Not upgrading at all until iOS 6 jailbreak is released... Maybe. It just depends on how it goes

iOS 6 just finished downloading! It has taken nearly 3 hours to download and set up though lol

Hmm..kinda nervous to update ipad. Pl is so smooth on it as it is. Anyone play pl on it yet? Any difference at all?

Seems exactly the same.
Note: if you're device is already jailbroken on iOS 5, I wouldn't suggest updating. There's much more opportunity being jailbroken than in iOS. For iPad, it looks like minor tweaks and interface of preloaded apps were the only updates of iOS 6 (noticeable by the average user).

Installed today. Everthing appeared to be working great. I like some of the new features. Except.......I got home and cannot connect to wifi!!! Tried a few things with no luck. Checked out the apple forums and apparently lots & lots of people cannot connect to wifi with no real resolve yet.
I'll keep digging and hopefully find a way to connect.
If you need to use wifi, be aware this may be a problem.

Solved my iOS6 wi-Fi issue.
I went to settings, Wi-Fi, clicked on the blue arrow on the right of my network, then "Forget This Network".
Completely powered down iPhone.
Un-plugged router for 30 seconds. Plugged back in. Made sure it was connected by using another device.
Then restarted iphone, went to wifi, connect to my network, had to enter password and voila! I'm back in.

I have an iPhone 4 and an iPad 2, so I don't gain from iOS 6. Only my non-JB phone was updated, my iPad will remain as is. Shame I won't get siri because I didn't wait two more months for the iPad 3rd gen and got a 2 lol.
Dave, I hope you're not subjecting yourself to trolling now. You're taking a leap toward an area I'm not liking.

You can get Siri for the iPod now! (Wifi needed)
But.. I haven't tried any STS games using the new iOS, im still on Chrome :p

I'm loving iOS 6 so far. The tweet from notification bar is pretty nifty. Phone is running quite snappy. No probs so far!

I usually don't upgrade on the first day. I let others test it first. Maybe tonight I will upgrade the "new iPad". I have heard that the new Maps app is inferior to Google Maps, and frankly I use the Maps app in lieu of GPS for directions. I've also read about the WiFi problem. It's creating enough waves in the press that I have no doubt there will be a patch. So this weekend, I guess, I will make a decision.

@ snakespeare, I just read on CNN that the apple maps has some major glitches, like misplacing major landmarks and locating buildings/addresses on the wrong side of the street. I'm holding off on the update for both phone and ipad2. I'll wait a month and then check & see whats being posted on the tech forums and blogs. I'll wait longer if necessary "if it ain't broke don't fix it." :welcoming:
