Dark Legends - Night of 1,000,000 Corpses Challenge!

A new week long exclusive event is NOW LIVE in Dark Legends:

The Night of 1,000,000 Corpses!

We will put the challenge out to see if the Vampire Nation can overcome 1,000,000 opposing humans in a week. There will be new vanity Bandanas that will only drop in the event along with 2 new legendary weapons and gems that you can obtain. Look for more details to be posted soon.

If the challenge is met, players can obtain these exclusive vanities

Dangerous things are happening below the city...

Civilians are on the move underneath Carvina, and one of the fools has sold them out to save his own skin. He’s been marked by the Council and is not to be harmed, as he has disclosed numerous underground tunnels where the humans are gathering for a coming war. The Soldiers that were blockading the tunnel on the way to Fresnel were all slaughtered, and dangerously close to a hidden human outpost. Reacting hastily they are moving themselves between their safe havens and arming for protection, preparing to defend themselves.

Believing the plan is too risky and that the vampires will find them out before they can complete the move anyway, the traitor has abandoned them in hopes of protection from the vampires directly. From this traitor the Council has learned the only ace up the humans’ sleeve are support from the Carvina Police Department. With this information the Council wants all the vampires to destroy these officers while feeding on as many humans as possible. The feasted masses can be harvested after the fact and the strong converted to the darkness to serve. Once enough humans have been bled dry the Council will award all participators with the bloodied garbs of the previously fallen vampire council lords in their honor.

A sampling of Elders Blood has been mixed into a special vial which once drank, will throw any vampire into a blood frenzy with an unquenchable thirst for blood and power. This ensures the maximum number of human casualties as possible during this assault, but the taste isn’t free...

This event will be kicked off by a shady character in the street of Carvina, escorted by members of the council elite. Conversing with him will yield information about the why he is there to the player, and then point you towards the vendor for Elder’s Blood.

After enough of the candles that light the way for the humans have been smashed, you will find the evil and mysterious Edie "Bandana" Cooke. Can you vanquish her?

Special Loot:
• Vanity Bandanas of 5 variations can be found in the event. Black, white, blue, red and green. These are UNIQUE to the event, and will not drop after the event is over. There drop rate will be pretty decent however.
• New Legendary Weapon for dual wield and 2H

After a few runs... I'd very much appreciate a replay/rerun function. Going through a small walk and two load screens slows me down enough when my goal is to go back to the same exact place over and over again. Please and thank you. :)

Drop rate of event vanities are really low as compared to those in Sl(e.g. birthday party hats).
Farmed like hours after the undead antlers drop rate was increased and still didn't get one.(ended up buying one for the market price of Gamer's leggings-1 mil.)
Same thing happened during this event. Very disappointing.

That's strange... I've been on less than 10 runs now and I've got 3 weapon drops and one bandana vanity from Edie. Keep trying... it'll pop up. I think its pretty frequent but that's just me... just be there when the boss dies. Some people rush and you get nothing when you're not there. -.-

For more clarification the "participated in event" is on a per character basis. If you want to ensure all of your characters get their own set (as currently the plan is for them to be stashable only) then each character will need to participate in running the event maps a couple of times each.

Down the line we may reach a point where it will be appropriate to allow players to sell and trade these pieces!

Alright thanks, i was makin sure cause im not a grinding farming kinda guy ill pop on here and there run it if i want then log off. Im the lazy gamer when it comes to DL unless i needa buy gems thats what my money is for xP

One more question... and I apologize if its already been mentioned in the previous two pages.

Seems the map is backward for my lvl 10 toon.

Whereas with my 31s, I start on on the long stretch that leads into the little loop, on my lvl 10 I start out on the stretch that leads to the are where the mini boss spawns.

Is the layout random or is it different for different levels? Maybe I never noticed, but it always seemed the same when running on my l31s.

I get a pink drop nearly every run, sometimes two! None of the items I have gotten so far were upgrades and the auction house is full of them for dirt cheap, but the bandanas sell for a decent amount.

Loving this event and eagerly killing for my bloody dress. One thing to fellow vamps- it's rude to wait for others to kill the bosses then run in and grab the goods. The majority have been great, we have a great community. But a small few should learn some etiquette. Let's take out these humans together! :)
