lag and crash

ok...so lately, PL has been laggin a lot...today i turned off high quality, and turned on pixel double...still lagged like crazy...so much so that, when i tried to quit by hitting the home button on my ipod, it crashed...not sure if its a server problem, or just my ipod in general, but i dont like it...if it is a problem on my end, im sorry for posting this, but i want to address all possibilities...

i'm lagging a bit on my ipod as well. however, on ipad it runs smoothly.

fyi, pixel double is not a helpful option for anything but ipad and iphone4.

Option to turn off skill animation would be very helpful.
