So... STS has released a preview for an upcoming expansion which is due in the next few weeks. Along with the preview we've gotten new armor equips!

A question floating around is what will happen to these elite armor equips after the content is released. From what I've heard it will be like the original COP. You can choose to keep its stats or convert it into a vanity, but what we don't know is what will become of this unique item after it is converted. If armor and helmet are paired, will we see sparkles like we saw with mystery dragon armor?(not stats) Will it be a tradeble vanity?

What do you guys think, and what could the difference be if either of these questions are yes or no. Feel free to ask questions as well:)

Lol I would feel bad for some people. I'm not sure the quest items were what most people were hoping to see from such a long quest.

Nothing was set in stone but the set would prolly be converted into a vanity with no stats but with some set effect visual.

I hope they don't change ichor drop rate. Just leave it, but learn from this for future quests. If you change it then it's unfair to people who worked hard to finish quest.

I really hope they make a elite bonus for future elite items if it is paired with old elite items (Ex CoP). For example if a future elite item is paired with The elite armor from Mount fang it will have a set bonus.

It is kinda odd that the esb + crafted set makes a bonus, yet the other epic bow doesnt make a set with either black dragon or crafted.

Yeah it is. I'm glad they are somewhat trying to work interchangeable parts in though.
