So, if you had to choose between two items (could be armor, weapons, shields, whatever), one of which looked really cool with weaker stats, and the other being plain with better stats, which would you choose? Differance in stats isn't huge, maybe three levels apart.
I'd go with the cool looking one.

I go with both. Also depends on where i am fighting, if i am helping lower level friends i stick with the cool stuff, but if i am grinding or farming i put the best weapons and armor i have no matter the look. Then when i done and just sitting around blackstar chatting i return to my cool looking outfit. It is real easy with the load out slots i just label them and with one click of button i am ready to rock.
