The Monster Holder Image Event Returns Tomorrow!

The Monster Holder Image Event returns this week with 3 new Vardan Valley bosses to collect:

+ Dred Duggar
+ Jord Skratch
+ Skull-Dozer

You also have the ability to collect previous bosses:

+ Beast of the Swamp
+ Captain Fangtooth
+ Glob
+ Jadis Gearloose
+ The Misshapen

+ Captain Bloodhammer
+ Corvis
+ Hugal the Berzerker
+ Lord Mardrom
+ Ul'rona

When the event begins (7/6 - 7/13 with a 1-day cooldown) you'll automatically receive a quest to meet Eames in Windmoore Tavern. She'll send you on a series of quests to collect items called Boss Images that can be crafted into items representing some of your favorite bosses. These can be placed into a Monster Display Case (available for purchase in the furniture store) in your home.

Once you've accepted one of Eames' quests, you'll have a chance to earn one Boss Image Fragment each time you defeat the boss. Once you have collected 12 fragments from that boss, Eames will grant you the full Boss Image. Take that over to the Crafting Station and combine with Elite Boss Relics and a bit of gold to make your furniture item!

And last, but not least: the boss images can only be crafted during the event and/or during the one (1) day cooldown. At the end of the event, the unused fragments will be removed.

It would be a better idea to expand the time of the Egg-Zavier event, which would allow them to continue generating money with elixir purchases. Instead of putting an event that nobody wants to play and that I don't see any benefit for you. An event that we players don't want and that doesn't benefit you financially....the truth is the kind of events that should disappear because it does not add anything to the game.

I'm not saying that the idea of ​​new monsters is a bad idea. only that they should include that in an event specifically that is from home.

I'm not even disappointed that its monster mirror event, I'd actually been looking forward to it.

I'm disappointed that you put no effort into this.

You added previous bosses when you could have just added the other bosses in those expansions... The twins from Cryostar, Rutger, Voriyana, etc.

You could have had the rewards be furniture "trophys" based around the mirrors (kinda like the side quests for the 4 commanders in fester). I even suggested this in the past (you guys even thought it was a decent idea).

This was clearly just added to fill a gap.

Can I ask STS seriously what the *hell* is the point of lvling gear (the adventure packs) if this no longer matters and 81 can't get you anything unless you pay plat or farm 3 months for crappy GL gear, to farm 6 more finally for a kraken, for STS to release lvl 86 and you cry, and you still have about 1500 plat ($50+) to spend on freaking INVENTORY SPACE.

With all of our effort going into the Arcane Catacombs and the Level 86 Expansion we don't have the resources to create fresh rewards for players' favorite in-between events (let alone big events) - and we don't want to commit the heresy of re-releasing leaderboard and Tier rewards for a recycled event either.

We strive to have *something* going on every week or two for various (probably obvious) reasons. In an ideal world every week we would drop something brand new that you love, can't miss, makes you tons of gold, and awards fascinating vanity items and powerful gear. This isn't the case this week... but we hope that the effort we're putting in to the Arcane Catacombs (another brand new event like so many we've released this year) and the upcoming Level 86 Expansion will be worth it.

The Arcane Catacombs event has slipped to next week. We wanted to release this content much earlier - but it wasn't near to completion. We do realize it's not ideal, but this week's mini event gives us the time we need to ensure that the Arcane Catacombs event will meet expectations.

Looks like most players are not a big house decoraters including myself which means most of us are dissapointed

I’m a house decorator still this is such a useless event , no point for putting this event separately . In jarl house event / blotto event also this monsters can be added . I think they working on catacombs arcane dungeon that’s why they couldn’t prepare a good event this week . Let’s see how good is catacombs is [emoji18]. If it’s not good as expected then it will be very disappointing for me and many payers because they made us wait for a long time for it.

Yeah it is permanent but it behaves differently (kinda like an event) in that it'll be up for a few months then down for a few months. I'll post more details later.

Don’t get me wrong I love what you all have been doing lately, but I really don’t think you should have messed with the potions. If someone wanted it to be more challenging then they could turn off auto pot. I believe that is why we had the option to begin with. “Boring” bosses come with lack of strategy. Trying to make us die doesn’t make it more exciting. Just my two cents.

Making the potions less effective so you don’t have to instakill has actually made it where instakill has become a combo hit for regular monsters or mobs. Please re-visit this decision for the sake of all hardcores and undergeared players. Thanks
