same here, haha the student and teacher edition is 80% off, or let me re-phrase that for everyone else $800 off, for either being in highschool or enrolled in any accreddited college/university. And I think it's the same price for those students on PC, I bought my edition at Best Buy to have a physical box (because I'm cool like that) but works extremely well.

The thing you want to do is have the series of pictures you want animated and place them all in the same image layered. Then go to Windows> Animation, at the bottom of the animations window will be a 'page' looking pic and when you click that it makes a new frame for animation. You just have to then click the 'view" button in the 'layers' window to make the new frame change. I'll try to find a good tutorial, but once you actually get the jist of it, it's very simple. But to save it as animated, you just go to File> save for web/devices and as a gif.

not much photoshoped here, but I'm a struggling insomniac and I've found myself in a Can-None-Drum? Haha anyways, here it is I try to go to sleep by 10-11, lay in bed for about 2-3 hours and fall asleep (hopefully)

Now I could wait until the next day around 5pm and recieve it, then, or keep my incessant supply of elixirs going at 11:45pm.

Oh couple questions (though may not be perfectly represented I'll try haha)

A darker, nuetral or lighter shade of green?
Would you like the text to pop out a bit, or blend like the name Obelisk just sits there. (I like both styles)
And the background, be green hue of something similar, or anything green?

And you don't have to link it back to me, it's all good. We all do this for the fun, and some for some profit too. Though I think you're pretty good at what you do, I'm always peaking over to see what you're up to. Though you'd be surprised how easy a userbar can be. Just a 350x19 bar, with Visitor Tk Font, and a picture/background then all done. With a bevel/emboss, or blurred white oval ontop.

yeah definitely man, we're all trying to get better at something. So I'm always trying to learn new methods myself, though back in the day I didn't have any templates, but just to follow tutorials. But I actually found somewhere where to get the Font, and template. Luckily for you they have a lot more options, then I was going to send you :P

Oh and to get rounded corners just merge or save it, then just use the circle selector, invert and delete the corners ha.

oh well it's really only a few seconds, just I load the screen shot from my computer to photoshop and use the magic selector wand (real name haha) because I'm too tired for any other way right now, then just save. Upload and here it is. And you don't need to thank me in your sig, it's awesome that you did, but it's your design practically :P

yeah haha and sweet deal, I'm more for enjoying the design than going through someone else's work. So thanks, I like the first one best. But awesome job man on both. It's always just good to see what different designs look like, to inspire. I like looking all around, though I haven't looked around lately, so I'm not exactly sure what inspires me, but I guess that gives me a bit of a self-made style. But based on all images I've seen all the time. But keep up the work, I keep saying it because you're work is always sound. I like your style that you make your text, though I prefer a simple stark text.

Just looks cool. I wouldn't be able to make something like that without your suggestions ha, so works both ways.

Just seeing if this one is a bit sharper or not.. Just sucks only working with 15kb.

there's not much to be helped about that.. mainly keep the colors similar, and a smaller size usually means more quality but less image. So trade off a bit, but like my sig, it's OK not the greatest, but makes for a decent sig. Though your's right now is pretty amazing. Though Userbars are only like 10kb with most colors I've used in PNG/JPG I think

it's funny I loved the colors of the first picture, the flower is always amazing. And the streaks from the last is just awesome, so I mixed them all. That's hw you get what I got :P I just didn't know how to impliment that third pic, but I'll try to post these up in the sig thread =]

Awesome Sig is the name haha and here is a quick tutorial on how to make this quickly.

One find the character you want to use.

Take a screen shot.

Open it with Photoshop.

Use the Polygon Lasso, (click a point then the next point)
Control+C, then Control+V (Copy - Paste)

Open a new document (or change canvas size to anything 500 by 100px or smaller)

Either paste the finished character or drag it into the new document.

Place into a cool position.

Now put a background, since I want to make it rounded edges I use that shape and press Option+Command+G (Mac shortcut don't know the PC shortcut sorry.)

Find a background image If you haven't already, save it, open in photoshop.

Open as File - Smart Object then place into sig document.

Place into background, (in this case into the shape, I do not know the PC shorttcut sorry.. setting in the layer)

[B&M] Bevel and Emboss at any setting you like (right click layer on right, click blending options)
You can also add a gradient over an image to add a few different shades to the image. Though choose a transparent one or lower the Opacity until desired settings.

B&M the character also! With the background also and it'll look cool, just set the setting to something the fits the images.

Then anytime in the mix you can add the text. Choose a font, and color. Then B&M if you want.

Go to File, Save for Webs and Devices, what's not shown is to click the quality number, move it up until it's under 15kb. As high as possible.

Save and upload!

The gun is all metal, and the wood is real except in the back portion. And yes I walked down the streets with it. Scared a couple people but most liked it.

eh haha it's just practice is all, I need to keep my works working for me, So i have to work for it ha. If that makes sense, anyways if you look at the post just above yours, the head and ears are fixed to look smoother.

Ehm, thanks? I'm 22 years old, so 'little' and 'kid' are subjective terms that may not fully apply to me. I'm not going to say that I can do better, as I do not have the time to work on custom made backgrounds and texts, so either way I can not do it, so I'll happily say this is the best I can do haha. Though if you have any tips on how to create an enhancing effect I would love to take a look and incorporate the addition.

Custom or template based, I could learn quickly or improvise for the signature. As I'm not planning to take hours long on creations of a work I do for enjoyment and free, no in game or real money is asked for. With an ideal product after reducing to 14kb I would greatly appreciate the tip. - Jeff

Um, no its completely diffrent. Basically a drawing software. As you can see i did use a google image and some text but cant erase parts of the picture i need gone so i saved as a jpg. And am going to use PSE on my home laptop after i sent it to myself
