There is no spot to bet 10,000 gold that you get from the other player if you win the duel. It would make the duels more fun and keep the other player from deciding not to pay what they owe.

Nah. Guild Battles and Duels are pretty distinct.
Duel wagers would be a very easy method to just hop in, wager the amount purchased for IRL cash, die, etc. to avoid detection.
Also it's a hustle and for every ten legitimate duel wager there'll be eight or nine Customer Service complaints. It's just a mess. Sorry :-)
