Gold vs Plat?

Im curious if Gold and Plat are exclusive or if a certain amount of gold = 1 plat?

Also I see people wanting to sell stuff for say 100k is that 100k gold or plat?

Gold cannot be used to purchase plat. Plat can be used to purchase gold, but it's fairly expensive to acquire gold that way. Plat cannot be traded (given to other people), so when someone says they are selling something, it will always be for gold ;) Plat is purchased only with real world money and is used to buy upgrades, vanity items, map packs, and stuff like that.

Yeah, plat is real money, gold is in game money. You can only get plat by buying it
