Gifting through housemail

Is it possible that we can gift through the housemail system. Don't have too much detail, but I think there can be a way to make it possible. It may even need its own system for that.

Went back and forth on this and decided not to do it. Main issues would be free storage, emails/items deleted after they expire, and another mechanism for illicit trades.
