Type: Single Elimination
Description:
Sincerely all forgotten haters (This includes you, Yich, Entertaining, and Gundamsone!), I recall you all asking for a tournament for low level PvP, so I made one! Yes, you read it right: FORGOTTEN WEAPONS ARE BANNED from this tournament.
The long awaited L17 Bear tournament has arrived!
Rules:
• Forgotten Weapons may not be used.
• No vanities are allowed, so helms must show. Yes, this includes founders helm not being allowed.
• Match begins ONLY when both players agree to rules & conditions.
• This is a GO! based match. You can only attack the other player after you both agree on go. This rule is applicable for each fight in the tournament.
• You will have 4-5 days to find your match, the person that shows he was making the most effort to find his opponent will be advanced if match is not completed. This will be carefully reviewed.
• The match will be taken place in Forest Fight and the game MUST be locked.
• Spectators are allowed, but any interference will result in the spectator being DQ'd from all future tournaments and that specific fight will not be counted.
• The use of Chrome or Flash based web browsers IS NOT allowed. (This can be checked through device numbers, courtesy of developers.)
• The use of macros is not allowed.
• To keep it fair, only mobile devices that are macro-free will be allowed. This is not a tournament to display your computer skills.
• Leaving to respec IS allowed, however can only be limited to a MAXIMUM of two times. (This can be verified through platinum purchase history)
• Tree Hugging, Running, Kiting & all other forms of fighting besides rushing and or teaming are allowed.

• Leave your Forum Name, Playing Times, and Twink you intend to play in the tournament with in one post.
• Good sportsmanship is a requirement! If not present, you will be DQ'd.
• No cussing, foul language, hatred or flaming. Treat your opponent with respect at any point in the tournament. This applies to defeated opponents or upcoming opponents. If I find out that you were disrespecting your opponent(s), I will DQ you.

I guess I can remove that rule, I put it into place due to macros. As long as you refrain from using macros, I'm fine with it.
Just let me know you're a chrome user so that I can check for macros.

Kinda scared to put my 17bear name up on forums. I've had him for years now and would hate for a dev to go in and change the name on him...

Btw, if gund gets a spot, it isn't really fair to the people that tried to join before him. But, gund has been wanting this for awhile.
Ye, Gundamsone is the level 17 equivalent of an 8 feet tall, 300 pound male cheer leader for a football game. It's nice to see him rooting for you, but it sucks when he puts pads on and plays for the other team. Let's keep him on the sidelines plox.

L17 was a weird phase. It started at 15, then 16s were made to rush/have a level advantage. Then the 17s came along with ANOTHER level advantage. I think it stopped for dexbears at 17 because games made by 13+ were harder to find, and you would get higher levels joining. It was certainly a weird phase, but I'm glad it still lives within some of the pros ;)

This rule is applicable to every first round match, even me. This means, if match isn't done by Tuesday, yes, I will DQ even myself.

Like I said for Imp, for your match, a judge will be needed, as you've had an easy tourney bracket, only actually having to face your round one opponent.
Imp is not allowed to simply give you the win, but you two have to fight against each other.
I didn't intend for when I created this tourney that it would be like this.

This tourney is basically made for 4 people, host, ent, imp, and tank.
If you want the "best" tourney then you'll need more "pros" to join (refer to my "mother of all 17's" thread for a list). Most of them are inactive atm I guess but the few who still play missed it b/c the spots "filled". As far as I know, there is no prize. Its just knowing you're the best. If there was a "made it to finals" prize, id understand the concern. There isnt. Entertaining will have to face the victor from the other bracket and if he is the best he will win. If not, he gets the same prize and respect as everyone else who lost. Dont claim its only fair to allow gundamsone in, did you even try to contact the others who tried to enter after the tournament closed but before gunny asked to join? Its your tourney I guess. Make your own definition of fair if you so choose.

That's you. I can't add you in, so you're essentially Dodo365.
The main reason I didn't want to do a 17 tournament for this long was this.
All the drama.
I just have to say this: 1 loss doesn't make or break you. So what if someone won over you? Being the best doesn't mean you've never lost, it just means you lost once. There are lots of variables that come into play in a tournament, so please be courteous to your fellow opponents and consider these factors when playing vs them.
Take a look at my end game bear, Zeus. He's lost matches to other bears, such as Gladiator (who is an extremely good bear). Does that matter? Nope.
Part of being the best is accepting that you will lose a match at one point or another, it just comes with the territory. I will set this straight right here, Gun. You've won many more matches than Entertaining has, when you two fight. You realize that & I realize you're not flaming right now, just explaining yourself. You don't need to, you're still the best, it's a widely known fact. I doubt any serious PvPer with half a brain would care if you lost one match. Those that do care? They don't deserve your respect, as they obviously haven't learned elementary math and are just looking to see you fail.

You two aren't banned from future tournaments, play on. I am well aware of what you two are capable of, just lost some respect for you guys.
You two, of all people should know that a single match doesn't just change facts. I'm living proof of that, as I've beaten both of you in private matches without y'all winning one game. Does that make me better? Probably not. Is it a loss? Yes. Does it mean I'm better than you two? Like I said, no.
Just play on and cut the drama, please, as now I'm discouraged to even host the L18 Bird tournament.
Most of all, you all are just proving everything end gamers trash talk about low level PvP. Sure, end gamer tournaments have drama, but they are a lot more respectful. Keep in mind that when you're in a tournament, all eyes are watching, even if they don't speak up.
That being said,
Good luck to you all in the tournament.
@Gun, for my sake, just play through the tournament. You can settle your disagreements later.

I haven't really witnessed a period when L17 PvP wasn't competitive ;) It can be a good thing :)
Near 6pm now.
I see u werent on at 5 so when can u come on then, cuz this is taking kinda long.

Why troll the forums with Ent and ask stupid questions where you obviously 100% know the answer to.
And I find it ironic how both you and Ent were so against the whole Bow thing saying how "low lvl pvp is ruined, people are quitting" yet you were the ones with alt toons rushing everyone with these new bows and making people quit. (I got my sources). Can't say the same for me can you since I was gone for a good 2 months.
