I've been wondering how you do. Also, how do you gain titles for your author box?
you gain it by being active on forum. your posts, get thanks, give thanks, and other stuff on forum..

You're welcome. It takes awhile (well depends how active you are on forum) to gain rep bars.

There's actually a section for these sorts of questions with the answers you were looking for, here's the guide with all you need to know.
I'm leaning toward keeping the titles somewhat minimum, to not encourage a lot of spam posting. What do you think about the following:
0 posts – New Member
30 posts – Junior Member
50 posts - Member
250 posts – Forum Adept
500 posts – Senior Member
1337 – ELITE
5000 posts – Luminary Poster
10000 posts - Forum Legend
