Afaik, phase 2 was supposed to allow us to buy slots with some vendor currency.

absolutely player unfriendly system. its not even viable to start new characters now because slots are just insanely expensive. half a billion to max out just inventory slots?
over the years the amount of different items in the game has greatly increased, but the amount of starter slots hasnt. this makes no sense.
